BetSwirl is one of the pioneering GambleFi projects in the blockchain space. What sets them apart is their partnership with Chainlink to utilize the VRF (Verifiable Random Function), ensuring a truly randomized and transparent odds system. With a "fair-first" approach to gaming, BetSwirl prioritizes transparency in its odds and payouts, providing players with a more trustworthy betting experience.
BetSwirl wanted to grow its user base and drive more volume to the betting platform, but they were unsure of the best direction to achieve these goals. Additionally, with the market downturn affecting GambleFi, overall betting activity was low across many competing platforms, presenting a challenge for user acquisition and engagement.
To address these challenges, we pivoted BetSwirl’s focus toward a sports betting-dominated culture, positioning gaming as a secondary offering. We believed that building a sense of community around sports would foster more engagement, as sports often give people a sense of purpose and connection. By cultivating this community, we aimed to grow the platform organically before branching into other gaming offerings. Our strategy centered on community engagement through reward programs, competitions, and events, all designed to incentivize participation and build loyalty.
BetSwirl, a pioneer in the GambleFi space, partnered with us to grow their user base and drive platform volume during a market downturn. By shifting the focus toward a sports betting-centric community and creating a sense of connection and engagement, we were able to help BetSwirl generate $4.1 million in betting volume, 43.5k bets, and increase their user base by 1,639. Our strategy of fostering community engagement through rewards, competitions, and events proved highly effective in driving growth and loyalty. Our hope is that BetSwirl takes this kick-off and keeps developing on this track to find more success.
